No person shall own, possess, make use of, or occupy any building or structure, or portion thereof, or cause or permit such building, structure, or portion thereof under his control to be used or occupied by others, if such building, structure or portion thereof constitutes a “dangerous building” as defined by, and by reason of, any conditions described in the most recent edition of the Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings, ICBO. For its definitions of dangerous buildings and of the conditions, applicable sections of the said publication, and all other sections of the Uniform Building Code necessary for the interpretation of said sections, are incorporated by this reference and made a part of this chapter.
