A. An equivalent dwelling unit (EDU) is defined as the equivalent use of one single-family residential dwelling unit.

B. The improvement components of the storm water SDC calculations based on the methodology defined in TMC 13.55.030 are shown in Tables I and III of the appendix* to the ordinance codified in this chapter.

C. The volume of storm water service required by a property is dependent upon the impervious area of the property. An average single-family residential property includes 3,000 square feet of impervious area. The volume of storm water drainage required by properties other than single-family dwelling unit properties shall be determined in square feet of impervious area. The storm water SDC for properties other than SFU shall be calculated by dividing the actual square footage of impervious surface by 3,000 square feet (average SFU) and multiplying this calculated amount by the total SDC per SFU.

D. The storm water SDC shall be adjusted in March of each year consistent with TMC 13.35.040(B) to account for inflationary cost within the construction industry. [Ord. 789 Art. 4; Ord. 731 Art. 4.]
