The purpose of this chapter is to establish the methodology to be used, and procedures to be followed, to assess park system development charges (SDC). Revenues generated from these charges are to be used to finance land acquisitions and other capital improvements to the city’s park system. The city shall collect the park SDC from each applicant for a building permit for a new dwelling unit at the time the permit is issued. [Ord. 791 Art. 1; Ord. 729 Art. 1.]
