No customer shall knowingly permit leaks or waste of water. Where water is wastefully or negligently used on a customer’s premises, the city may discontinue the service if such conditions are not corrected within five days after giving the customer written notice.

If the monthly metered consumption is greater than 150 percent of the past average consumption due to a water leak on the customer’s property and the leak is repaired in a timely manner, the customer may request a leak adjustment once the leak is repaired.
