A. In accordance with ORS 203.077, the city recognizes the social nature of the problem of homeless individuals camping on public property.

B. To ensure the most humane treatment for removal of homeless individuals from camping sites on public property, the city manager and city staff are required to implement and continue to execute the requirements of ORS 203.077. Said ORS details a process and notification procedure to be followed prior to the physical removal of homeless individuals from campsites including 24-hour notification. [Ord. 907 § 6, 2016.]
