9.05.130 Purchase or possession of liquor by minor.

A. Except as provided in TMC 9.05.140, no minor shall attempt to purchase or acquire, or have in his or her possession, alcoholic liquor.
B. For the purposes of this section, possession of alcoholic liquor includes acceptance or consumption of a bottle of such liquor, or any portion of it, or a drink of such liquor. However, this section does not prohibit a person from accepting or consuming sacramental wine as part of a religious rite or service. [Ord. 887 § 44, 2015.]
