15.10.030 Definitions.

Unless otherwise expressly stated, the following terms shall, for the purpose of this code, have the meanings indicated in this section:

“Approved” shall mean accepted by the chief of the fire department or fire marshal, pursuant to applicable standards provided herein, or pursuant to applicable standards to which reference is herein made.

Chief of the Bureau of Fire Prevention. Wherever the term “chief of the bureau of fire prevention” is used in the Uniform Fire Code, it shall be held to mean the fire marshal.

Corporation Counsel. Wherever the term “corporation counsel” is used in the Uniform Fire Code, it shall be held to mean the attorney for the city of Talent.

Municipality. Wherever the word “municipality” is used in the Uniform Fire Code, it shall be held to mean the city of Talent. [Ord. 908 § 3, 2016; Ord. 900 § 5, 2015; Ord. 805 § 5; Ord. 633 § 1; Ord. 565 § 5, 1992.]
