A franchise to provide solid waste management and collection services shall be granted for a period of five years, beginning April 1, 2014, with subsequent five-year terms renewing annually, unless prior notice of request to terminate is submitted by either the city or the franchisee a minimum of 90 days prior to the renewal date.
