A. No cross-connections shall be created, installed, used or maintained within the area served by the city, except in accordance with this chapter. The cost of complying with this chapter is the sole responsibility of the property owner.

B. BPAs shall be utilized at premises where a substance is handled that would be hazardous to health if introduced into the city water system. The BPAs shall be used in locations where an air gap is impractical. [Ord. 649 § 3.]
