The economic development commission shall consist of seven members to be appointed by the mayor with the consent of the city council. One member may live outside the city limits of Talent. Commission members shall receive no compensation. Two city council members shall be appointed by the mayor to serve as ex officio members of the commission, but shall have no vote and shall not count toward a quorum. [Ord. 937 § 3, 2017.]
