If a committee member or alternate should, without valid reason, miss three regularly scheduled sequential committee meetings within the same fiscal year (July 1st through June 30th), that member shall be subject to removal from the committee. In addition, a committee member may be removed for misconduct, by the city council, following a public hearing.
