The parks and recreation commission shall consist of five members to be appointed by the mayor with the consent of the city council. One member may live outside the city limits of Talent. Commission members shall receive no compensation for their service. The mayor or a city council member appointed by the mayor shall serve as an ex officio member of the commission, but shall have no vote and shall not count toward a quorum. [Ord. 953 § 3, 2019.]
